Chairman’s trip to Pakistan
in November 2017 included visits to
The chairperson made commitments
on behalf of SEHT
to supply or fund
some of the requirements as
identified by the visited organisations. The activities over the
year so far:

The neonatal unit at the children complex in
Sialkot required replacement of therapy
lights and
these have been
supplied and
installed at a cost
of Rs 230,000.
-
The Al-Khidmat
Committee has
been provided with 100 uniforms
and 50 satchels
for the children at the Orphans school.
-
Sharif Hospital Trust
have been supplied
medicine worth Rs 35000.
-
Aabroo high school science laboratory
has been
supplied chemicals,
models, and equipment including an oscilloscope,
at a
total cost of
over Rs 241,000.
-
Seht sponsored cleft palate surgery for four
children on the
Cleft Hospital’s waiting list -
cost Rs 160,000. The Trustees have agreed to sponsor more
children next year.
SEHT has
also collaborated with another UK charity organisation -
ECHO (Eye
Care Health Organisation -
www.eyecarehealth.org.uk) - in
sponsoring cataract surgery in Pakistan
for 50 patients at a cost of £1250. SEHT expects to be able
to participate in future cataract camps run by this charity.
